Waking up to kicks

Ate J and Ate C told me that I was laughing and speaking in my sleep again. I was laughing so hard, raising my hands and saying "pogi, pogi!" with the enthusiasm of a person who is... not sleeping.

I don't remember any of this. I can only guess that I was horseplaying with Sir_Ko in this dream. I love calling him "pogi" because oh my god, he really is the pogi-est man in the universe. What I do remember was waking up to some sort of nudging in different parts of my body. Apparently, TLO was looking at me while all the sleep laughing and giggling was happening. She probably got annoyed and kicked me until I woke up.

That was fun. :)

First Phone Conversation With TNLO

TNLO (The New Little One) turned 2 last April. Sobrang daldal ng batang ito (puwera usog, sabi nga ng mga mas matatanda sa amin). In Q2 of this year, he started stringing two/three-word sentences (syet, very therapist speak). Parang may maliit na matanda kaming kasama. Laging may comment. Ang tawag ko sa kanya "dulo-dulo boy" kasi paborito niyang manggaya ng dulo ng lahat ng maririnig niya.

Madalas na kaming "nag-uusap" ni TNLO sa telepono pero one-way lang ang vocals. Siya, tatangu-tango lang sa kabilang linya. Kaya gulat na gulat ako nung Lunes. May sumasagot na sa akin. Ito ang aming nakakakilig na usapan.

TNLO: Elow?
Ako: Anong gawa mo?
TNLO: Dito lang ako.
Ako: Si Popot nasan.
TNLO: Dun upo. Popot, maya na lang! (pinapagalitan ang Ate TLO niya kasi nangungulit)
Ako: Si Dadda nasan?
TNLO: Luto.
Ako: Anong gagawin mo pagkatapos mo kumain?
TNLO: Dede.
Ako: Tapos?
TNLO: Toothbrush.
Ako: Tapos?
TNLO: Tulog lang.

Tapos binitawan na ang telepono. Sabi ng Ate J niya, "uy usap pa raw kayo ni mommy mo."

TNLO: Ikaw na lang.
(ayaw na akong kausapin, si Ate J na lang daw makipag-usap sa akin)

Ang brusko diba? Medyo nasosobrahan ako sa kilig sa batang ito pero kailangan na namin siyang turuan gumamit ng "opo" at "ate/kuya" at huwag ituro ang mga guard para sabihing "guard ka!" nang paulit-ulit.

Tarot Reading For The Road

You probably think I've gone cuckoo with all these posts about tarot readings. I promise this is going to be the last tarot cards post around my current career adventure. Because my goodness, I really need to calm down and let everything flow. I have been anxious, excited, scared, thrilled (in no particular order) since April 26. I've had so many sleepless days/nights and bland, unhappy meals. Please continue to send light, prayers and your super powers my way. I promise that the next post about this journey will be about closure (hopefully a happy one).

Free Online Tarot Reading

In times of need, I turn to the stars and the occult for comfort. Just because. I typically turn to the warm shoulders of astrology but I also love readings from Tarot cards. It was ZephyrInTheSky who introduced me to the wonders and powers of these cards. Halos tatlong buwan na pala akong walang post. Siguro lungkot na lungkot na ang walong readers ko. Haha! Tumataginting siguro (siguro lang) na mga late post ang mga susunod. Sana!!!

Meanwhile, eleksyon na very very very soon. Todo ang basagan sa social media, parang lahat kamag-anak ng kandidato. Hindi ako makapaglagay ng political posts sa FB ko (yes, bumalik ako at saka na ang paliwanag) kasi mahirap na... baka machismis at mahatulan pa nang kung anu-ano.

Pero sa lahat ng nababasa ko, ito lang ang masasabi ko. Ang dapat na pamagat ng eleksyon na ito ay...

Popoy, kasi kung alam niyo yung 80's na ibig sabihin ng salitang "popoy" e alam niyo na rin na pinopopoy lang nilang lahat ang ating sensibilities.

Nakikiuso Kasi

Nung una kong narinig yung "adult coloring book," ang akala ko lantaran na ang kahalayan sa Pilipinas. Pati mga nanay, tiyahin, lola, lahat gumagamit e. Pero hindi pala hentai yung tinutukoy. Pa-sweet lang na mga coloring book na sobrang sinsin at pino ng mga disensyo.

Gusto ko rin ng adult coloring book pero hindi ako nangangahas bumili kasi may problema ako sa pagme-maintain ng hobby. Sayang lang. Pero kung libre, aba e di masaya.

Nag-install ako ng "Color Therapy" app sa telepono ko at talaga namang naligayan. Ito ang mga nakulayan ko.

Kaso, pagkatapos nito, pinabibili na ako ng kung anu-ano. E di ayawan na. Dapat may batas na nagrerequire sa app developers na sabihin agad kung hanggang saan lang ang libre e. Sayang ang oras at pag-ibig ko. Sayang talaga. Akala ko tayo na forever.

Nainlab ako sa image na makikita niyo ng tatlong beses sa ibaba. Ang simple pero ang powerful. Naisip kong gamitin para sa pakyut na artwork na alay ko sa isang kaibigan. Hindi kasi madali ang buhay namin. Kung pwede lang gamitin ito na parang bag-wa na magtataboy ng mga taong walang pahalaga sa aming pagkatao. Ok hanggang diyan na lang ang puwedeng sabihin.

Red and White Checkered Background

I was working on a personal project a couple of days ago. I needed red and white checkered background images and I noticed that there is not enough of these babies online. Well, not in the sharpness and hues that I needed them to be in. The closest one was almost maroon and I don't have access to Photoshop... even Photoshop skills. Yun ang tunay na problema. I have yet to relearn Photoshop.

I ended up making my own images in MS PowerPoint. Way-Way (in Tagalog, para-paraan!). So what do I do with the files now? Might as well share because sharing is caring. Duh... :p

Yeah, I like doing that as if people care. Haha! Anyhoo, I've been rabidly posting in Facebook because I have needs and Zuckerberg's baby is such a convenient option. Hope that becomes a "was" this year and for keeps.

Wait a minute, NEEDS? Big word, huh? I have a bitch of a need to write and play with images (mine or from the omnipotent collection of Google Images). Blogging is self-serving necessity in my messy life. If you like it here, thanks. But know that this is more for me than for anyone else. I hope they don't pull the plug on Blogger anytime soon.

Kailangan ko lang ma-share ang nag-uumapaw kong kaligayahan. Mapupunit na ang bibig ko sa kakangiti. Lalagpas na ako sa cup E sa nagsisikip kong dibdib. Gusto kong humiyaw! Gusto kong magsayaw sa Ayala! Magkakaron na ako ng sarili kong notebook! Ay mali, netbook! Yesssssss!!!

~ Hindi na ako makukuba sa pagdadala ng mga laptop na pang grown ups. Eto sakto sa height at kamay ko!
~ Para na akong may sariling kuwarto!
~ Mag-aaral ako ng maraming apps! Mag-aaral ako!
~ Bibili ako ng purple na netbook sleeves. Saka purple na wireless mouse. Saka araw-araw ko siya lilinisin. Saka promise, di ko siya ifo-force shutdown. Saka icha-charge ko lang siya pag-drained na ang battery. Pramis yan Dadda!
