Lamay Barangay

O wag kang sasagot, may nakikinig.

Tapos may fun and games. May dahilan kung bakit may fun and games.

The Blues

Let it flow
I may be old and rusty
Obscure and out of style
But always ready
To swallow your tides

Palamig

Don't you just wish you could do this without getting arrested and/or tagged cuckoo?

For my shoes

I wish I had something like this.. an organizer hanging from the ceiling. But mine's not going to be as pretty.

One afternoon in our secret garden

TLO's wearing her dad's shirt and a scarf... our take on gypsy-apostle :)

He loves my flower.

Look at all the Aloe Vera... I can be the next Aloe Vera magnate.
Really loving my flowers. White Flower never had any single day without blooms.
Look at those little fingers, long!!!

Symphony of Lights 2011 was so-so after this

Watched the free light and sound show at Ayala Triangle Gardens with Hubby, TLO, Ate J and F. It's my first time to see this type of show. Para kang nasa Engkantasya.

I'll post more photos tomorrow. But for now, I'd like to share two special images --- no digital enhancements, no fancy camera. I took them before the show started . We were sitting under this big tree. I looked up and was touched by something overwhelmingly serene. I borrowed the Hubby's phone to take a couple of shots.

I'm blessed to have witnessed nature's light and sound show.

Isaw Overload

This is just a two-minute walk away from the office. Been hearing good reviews from Zhailyn and Kleyr about it - especially about the kebabs. We didn't know that it's only open from Wednesday until Friday (9PM-AM) so last Tuesday, team mates and I went hunting and gathering for good food only to end up in  McDonald's PeopleSupport. Haha!

Image is from here. Read more about Distrito from this site.

We were successful last night. As per Steph - FULLFILLED. Full na, fulfilled pa. Lalo na ako.
  • 2 Isaw Manok
  • 2 Isaw Baboy
  • 1 Balat
  • 1 Betamax
  • 1 Rice
The overload gave me a nasty tummy for almost two hours. I don't think I'll have isaw for the next six months.

Creepy thought. The bbq booths are near Makati Med's exit where I once saw a dead patient being wheeled out.

Kebs. Yum!

In what culture is this attire acceptable for work?

I lay no claim on power dressing. If it weren't for the company dress code, I'll come to work in jeans and shirts E V E R Y D A Y. But this girl made me feel the urge to call John Robert Powers... ewww for me wanting to make that phone call. Can't see it here but her make-up's two-inch thick. The colors match poles and cages on a stage. Her hair, that day, was a tribute to Pamela Anderson.

I love his job

I like working with my hands. I love it when the output is clearly seen after investing time on a task. That's why I love his job. Although with my limited arm length and vertical challenge, it may take a day for me to finish what he's able to do in an hour.
