February 20: Kanin, puksain!

No more rice!

On weekdays only. Pero kung kaya, eh di araw-araw!

Leadership by example

Moving out

Eight months ago, I said that I needed space and more soil for these lovelies. In the wild ang drama.

Kaming mga bagets, parang halaman ding kailangang mamuhay in the wild.

Two tipsy young adults on a swing, under the full moon and skies of Antipolo. She dared him to sing a song. He did. Earlier this morning, the same song played on the radio. He was doing the laundry while she prepared aloe vera gel for his hair fall problem.  A little girl, with his eyes and her clumsy feet, roamed the room, looking for stuff to throw outside their window.

They may stop playing our song in a few more years. Keber. The sky remembers. Besides, I'll love you even after the moon falls off from the sky.

Ysabelle Mansion, Puerto Princesa Palawan

This post is all about gratitude.

Thank you to all the netizens who post articles, reviews and recommendations  about places to visit and accommodations for all possible destinations in the Philippines. We found Ysabelle Mansion through you guys.

Thank you to Ysabelle Mansion for making our stay hassle-free, convenient and truly relaxing. They prepared our travel itinerary, they served great food, they provided reasonable rates and reliable access to transportation (tricycles wait outside the hotel), they helped us get seats in all highly recommended restaurants and activities that were not part of our tour package (ex. firefly watching), they were very warm and accommodating.

Not yet convinced? They offer a Dampa-like service. You can go to the wet market to buy anything you'd like to eat and their staff will cook them for you!

Try them, try them, try them please!
