Freedom!

It's Independence Day in the Philippines. This means no work. Hehe. I stopped believing in this day a long time ago. My father asked me, when I was barely in my pre-puberty years, if I believe that we're free? Of course not. But yes, a little part in each and everyone of us who had to go through several years of "Philippine History" in school must be thrilled. Patriots, don't hate me. Right now, independence just means different things to this struggling wife, mommy, daughter, sister, friend, etc.

So yes, I wish for you to be free in whatsoever way you define it (that's our choice too). Mabuhay!
