Today marks day 1 of nanny's OJT (on-the-job training) with TLO's grandma.
Grandma has been taking care of TLO since the day she was born. Nanny needs to "shadow" her for day-to-day activities. Hubby and I also agreed that TLO needs this supervised getting-to-know you phase. Two weeks would have been ideal but we really want TLO to stay with us now now now... She's as old as this desire.
If the nanny's able to survive the eagle eyes of grandma and grandpa and if the nanny continues to be the caring, diligent person we met last week, we'll start living with our daughter this Saturday.
I'm crossing my fingers.
BVM, please make this happen.
